Author Biography

   David Catrow was born in Richmond, Virginia. He attended Kent State University as a pre-med student. Catrow did not go on to medical school but worked as a paramedic for 10 years and freelanced as a cartoonist.
   Catrow is now an award-winning editorial cartoonist for the Springfield News-Sun and illustrator of children's books. His work is syndicated to more than 900 newspapers in the United States and Canada, including the New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today.
   His hobbies include bicycling, birdwatching and painting. Catrow and his family reside in Ohio.
