  | Full Text Reviews: School Library Journal - 04/01/2013 Gr 1–2—With simple text and colorful captioned images, these small-sized, introductions manage to pack in a lot of information about six people who have influenced history in very different ways. Short sentences, clear maps and time lines, "Fast Fact!" text boxes, and other nonfiction book features, such as glossaries with pronunciation guides, assist kids in learning facts without being overwhelmed. Large full-color and black-and-white photos and reproductions illustrate every spread.
