Author Biography

   Vivian French was born on the border of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire in England. She studied English at university but spent most of her time off campus acting. Ms. French was first published in 1990, after careers in the theatre, counseling and storytelling. She has also written under the pen name Louise Catt.
   Her favorite comfort food is chocolate and even wrote a book about it. She also loves mashed potatos, parsnips and eating tomatoes off the vine. French also enjoys listening to music, especially live music, and watching the Simpsons, House and the Sopranos on television.
    She divides her time between Bristol and Edinburgh.
