Sal Murdocca Birthplace: Brooklyn, NY Most recent address:New City, NY Author Biography Sal Murdocca grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended the High School of Art and Design in New York City majoring in illustration. He spent another year studying at the Art Students League while apprenticing in a commerical art studio. He had a successful career as an advertising and magazine illustrator and taught writing and illustration for two years at the Parsons School of Design, before turning to children's book illustration. He is also an award winning fine artist participating in many one-man and group shows of his watercolor and acrylic paintings. When he isn't busy working on the Magic Tree House books, Murdocca loves to bike with his wife around Rockland County, New York and the south of France where they live. Updating Results ...
