Author Biography

   Toni Buzzeo received a BA in English Language and Literature from the University Of Michigan, Dearborn, a MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a MLIS in Library in Information Science from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston.
   She serves on the Executive Board of the Maine Association of School Libraries and volunteers as a collaborating library media specialist in the local school in Buxton, Maine. Buzzeo speaks across the country in schools, at library, reading and writing conferences, and district and regional trainings for teachers and librarians. She is often known as the Library Goddess, having acquired the name in 1999 after receiving the Maine Library Media Specialist Of The Year Award.
   One Cool Friend received a 2013 Caldecott Honor. 
   Her favorite movie is Lion In Winter and her two favorite musical artists are Loreena McKennitt and Enya. She divides her time between Sarasota, Florida (January-April) and Buxton, Maine (May-December).
