Babette Cole

Author Biography
Babette Cole was born September 10, 1949 in Jersey, England. Ms. Cole died January 14, 2017. She was educated at the Art School at Canterbury, England and worked drawing comics. The author lived in Africa and the West Indies. She enjoyed horses and sailing. Cole will be remembered for her picture books. She was a recipient of the IRA/CBC Children's Choice Award.
