Author Biography

   Jeff Stewart grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in English and Journalism. Like the main character in the Five Ancestors series, Jeff was an orphan and was adopted as an infant. He always had a strong desire to uncover his past and found his birth mother after searching for fifteen years. A year later, he found his birth father. 
   Jeff practices martial arts and holds a black bet in Shaolin Do Kung Fu. His work history includes maintenance man; concert promoter; photographer; editor; technical writer; graphic designer; industrial filmmaker; web developer; ballroom dance teacher; college English instructor; and marketing director for architectural firms that design schools, libraries, and skateboard parks. He now writes and speaks with kids full-time.
