Christ the King Catholic School began the Birthday Book Club (BBC) in 2003. It’s a fun, inventive way to both honor your children on their birthdays and add great books to our library collection!  Win/win.

The online BBC store is open all year but books must be purchased 2 months prior to the special birthdate. Half birthdays are celebrated for May-August birthdays.

When your child’s birthday arrives the book will be ready for him/her in library class. We’ll place a special bookplate in the book honoring your child and your gift to the library.  They’ll also get a special book bag, bookmark, and finally, get to be the first to check out the book. When your child is done reading his/her Birthday Book, it will be returned and added to the library shelves for all of our students to enjoy.

Remember books can also commemorate special family members, and anyone (parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles alike) can donate! If you have any questions at all, please contact Mrs. Titus.
