  | Full Text Reviews: Booklist - 03/15/2018 Adding to the ever-growing pile of books about women in STEM fields, this entry in the Superwomen in STEM series (6 titles) offers brief, pithy profiles of a handful of notable figures who made pivotal contributions to the field. Splashy pages with bright colors, inset boxes, and plenty of photos offer key tidbits about each woman’s life and work, with sidebars mentioning other key women they worked with or learned from. It’s an amiable, inviting approach, and while it’s certainly not comprehensive—only five women, with a group entry for the Bletchly Park Codebreakers, are given the full treatment—it will likely spark enough curiosity to inspire middle-grade students to research more elsewhere.
