Booklist - 09/15/2011 In this latest volume, Babymouse decides to enter the science fair. She daydreams about science-fiction movies and television shows (Star Trek, The Attack of the 50-Foot Woman); fantasizes about winning the Nobel Prize; learns about the scientific method in class—and then she discovers an amoeba named Squish. The book introduces this new graphic-novel series character by snazzy use of the color green, which nicely counteracts the pink hues of the rest of the book. Undoubtedly, schools and public libraries will want to keep this popular series up-to-date in their collections. - Copyright 2011 Booklist.
