Full Text Reviews:

Booklist - 05/15/2012 Dee, Hector, and Terry are assigned to the school’s competitive math team as punishment for cutting a class field trip. While their enthusiasm is lacking, they show their typical good intentions and become valuable members of the team. However, their protector, the mustard-grappling-hook-heaving Lunch Lady, and her sidekick, Betty, spring into action when they discover that a rival school stocks its Mathlete team with alien computers instead of kids. Less complex than other adventures in the series, this one nonetheless retains the host of characters readers will recognize as cartoon versions of real people in their own lives. - Copyright 2012 Booklist.
