Each volume includes an “Artistic Side” spread that shows artistic applications of the technology in question; concise “Career Stats,” which give professions’ average salary, job numbers and projected growth, and required education and certifications; and an interview with a professional currently working in the field. Some of the more interesting examples in Making Robots include robot companions, a drummer’s robotic prosthetic arm, and “nanobots” being designed to fight diseases.
