Full Text Reviews:

Booklist - 10/01/2016 Charlie Laird and his ragtag gang of friends have cleaned up a lot of the havoc wreaked by unrest in the world of nightmares, but there’s one lingering problem left, and it’s a big one: ICK and INK are still causing trouble, and it’s hitting uneasily close to home. Charlie has to contend with competing loyalties among his friends, reconsider his assumptions about the twins, and accept that he has something in common with them that he’s reluctant to admit. Segel and Miller bring their horror-lite trilogy to a satisfying close in this final volume, wrapping up loose ends and showing heartening growth among their kid characters. As usual, the gentle tension is leavened with some puzzling red herrings and well-timed comedy, while Charlie’s grief over his late mother is a constant, but never domineering, undercurrent. Knowledge of the first two series entries is, of course, essential, but fans of Segel and Miller’s stories won’t be disappointed by this warm farewell to their characters’ entertaining adventures. - Copyright 2016 Booklist.
