Booklist - 09/15/2016 In his first picture book, comic-book artist Tatulli, creator of the syndicated strips Lio and Heart of the City, brings his boisterous style to the topic of daydreaming. One morning, Henry is awakened by an offstage voice (fittingly rendered in a speech bubble) and admonished not to daydream. Next, a sequence of illustrated panels follows him to the kitchen, where he reaches for a box of cereal, only to tumble into the box itself. Energetic wordless spreads reveal Henry’s antics in this confectionery landscape with the cereal’s toy bear prize. Again the voice cuts in, this time warning Henry not to daydream in school, but Henry can’t resist going for a spin on the classroom globe. When the bell sounds for recess, Henry and his bear shrink to the size of ants and take a ride on a grasshopper. But then, a giant hand picks the pair up. This is no daydream! The breathtaking twist makes for an imaginative and enthralling adventure story. - Copyright 2016 Booklist.
