Booklist - 05/01/2026 The semi-famous escape room team The Deltas returns in a sequel to The Mystery of Locked Rooms (2024). This time, Hannah, Sarah, and West are invited by the mysterious C. K. Goodson to try out their new escape room called The Mystery Mansion. The story is a walk-through of the escape room, full of new challenges and puzzles for the team to solve within the allotted two hours. On the line is not just the team’s reputation but also prize money. Each character has their own personal motivation, which comes to light as they work their way through the puzzles. For readers who love escape rooms, this story will be perfect, but others may lose interest because it’s not a mystery that can be solved on its own. With a sprinkling of budding romance, a nefarious thief, and changing friendship dynamics, this follow-up will please dedicated readers.
