School Library Journal - 11/01/2025 Gr 1–3—Towering structures receive short, choppy descriptions. Readers learn much about each edifice including its location on a world map, its history, its function, what the interior looks like, its dimensions, and more. A few photos afford glimpses of what can be observed from amazingly high-up vantage points. Some photos feature labels, arrows, and insets focusing on specific details. Black-and-white photos are included where historical background information is provided. Back matter includes a glossary without pronunciation guides, a bibliography, and index, and a web address to find out more. VERDICT Recommended for limited purchase. Punning aside, much of the information here may soar over students' heads. - Copyright 2025 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
