In these four volumes of the series, Bee helps her family get ready for a wedding, celebrates Diwali, goes on a class field trip, and takes care of the classroom flowers. Along the way, she learns to be helpful and responsible and face feelings like disappointment and fear. These fully illustrated short chapter books are perfectly level appropriate for beginning readers who are just starting chapter books and more intricate storylines that can be spread across chapters. Bee is fun and her problems are resolved quickly. Readers will also learn about Indian culture and traditions along the way.
