School Library Journal - 11/01/2023 Gr 3–6—In this Marvel adventure, young readers will enjoy a side-splitting journey featuring Rocket and Groot. When an alert comes to Rocket's data pad with the news that Star-Lord was kidnapped for ransom, he and his sidekick Groot take on the task of finding their friend. Each chapter brings readers to another planet as they collect allies in their search. The relationship between Rocket and Groot is both endearing and hilarious. The eclectic characters that Rocket encounters in his adventure add dimension and fun to the story. The dazzling colors and iconic stylings of the illustrations will keep readers' eyes glued to the page. The conclusion is comical and unexpected but will keep readers wondering if there is more to come.
