Karate describes some of the basic moves that students learn in their dojos and shares photos of kids competing in kata events and kumite matches. Lacrosse showcases the rules of the game, the skills needed for different positions, the necessary gear, and the layout of the field. Readers of Softball will see its many similarities to its popular sibling, baseball, learning all about batting, fielding, base running, and essential gear. Volleyball shares descriptions of the different positions and some basic rules as well as explaining the gear and court layout.
