J., the story features witty dialogue and comically exaggerated scenes. Bonus: this may be the only beginning chapter book with a footnote directing readers to YouTube to search for “Monty Python dead parrot sketch.” Bold line drawings with gray washes underscore the humor of the book, a zany addition to this funny, habit-forming series.
