These and other basic facts about the subjects are related in simple, first-person prose. Readers learn of their early lives and professional careers. The narratives contain photos of the subjects in their respective athletic settings. Despite the brevity of facts, these volumes provide excellent introductions to famous athletes and young fans will enjoy reading about the subjects on their own.
