One girl joins a gymnastics team for the first time and struggles to make friends and get comfortable, a fifth grade boy learns how to find balance on and off the basketball court, another athlete battles with jealousy over a teammate more talented than him, and a girl struggles to accept her place on the rookie soccer team instead of the traveling team. While the concept of this series isn't new, sports stories are in constant demand at most libraries, and these stories get the formula just right. "Think About It" questions and an athlete profile are appended in each volume.
