Booklist - 05/01/2025 Three bunkmates at camp get off to a rocky start in this endearing comic. Introverted Bea, who still feels a strong attachment to her stuffed animals, is willing to endure one week of camp if it means she never has to go again. Virginia was excited to go to camp along with all her soccer friends, only this year, she didn't make the team, and now it's the last place she wants to be. And Roxy is just hoping for some time away from the constant arguing in her home. Bea and Virginia don't get along at all, which leaves Roxy feeling even worse than when she arrived, especially when Bea and Virginia start escalating their conflict with mean-spirited pranks. When Roxy goes missing, Beatrice and Victoria must put aside their differences and work together to find their friend. Montague's open, sparely drawn characters with flat color fills do a good job of capturing the emotional turns of the story. A natural choice for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Shannon Hale. - Copyright 2025 Booklist.
