Author Biography

   Patricia Lee Gauch was born January 3, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan.  She graduated from Miami University of Ohio, then received a Master's Degree from Manhattanville College and a Ph.D. from Drew University.  Gauch worked as a reporter, a teacher and an editor at Philomel Books, where she is now a Vice President.  The author and her husband, Ron, have three children, Sarah, Chris and John.  She enjoys author visits.
   Gauch is known primarily for her historical fiction.  "This Time, Tempe Wick?" was a Notable Trade Book in Social Studies.
