Author Biography

   Rich Wallace was born January 29, 1957 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He graduated with  a B.A. from Montclair College in 1980. In college, Wallace focused most of his energy on track and cross-country. He also interned at the Herald News and was later offered a writing and reporting position.
   After graduation he worked as a sports reporter, news editor, and assistant city editor at numerous New Jersey newspapers. In addition to writing children's books, he is a senior editor for Highlights for Children magazine.
   Wallace currently resides in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
