Author Biography

    Robert N. Munsch was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1945.  He initially studied to be a Jesuit priest, then went to Fordham University. He also received a Master's Degree from Boston University.  Munsch has worked in a daycare center.  His wife, Ann, is a college professor and they have three children, Julie, Andrew, and Tyya. 
    The author is best known for his picture books. Munsch was named Author of the Year by the Canadian Booksellers Association in 1991. He enjoys author visits.
