Author Biography

   Alex Flinn was born October 23rd in a small town on Long Island, New York. She attended the University of Miami to study opera and then studied law at Nova Southeastern University Law School. Flinn interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, trying domestic violence cases. This was the inspiration for her first novel Breathing Underwater. She practiced law for 10 years before retiring to become a novelist.
   Her interests include writing, music, theater, current events, biking, reading, cooking and yoga.
