Barbara Bottner Website:www.barbarabottner.com Birthplace: Author Biography Barbara Bottner was born May 25, 1943. As a child, she loved to dance and paint. Bottner attended Boston University from 1961 to 1962 and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in France from 1963 to 1964. She received a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin in 1965 and an M.A. in painting from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1966. Bottner began her career designing sets for an off Broadway company. Her sets were too large and she was fired as a set designer and hired as an actress. For two years she toured the U.S. and Europe. Bottner never planned to become a writer until an editor suggested she write her own manuscript. She has also worked in journalism, animation, television and script writing, book reviewing, humor essays, and nonfiction. Bottner alos enjoys doing author visits. Updating Results ...
