Author Biography

   Tim Wynne-Jones was born August 12, 1948 in Bromborough, Cheshire, England. He received his B.F.A. from the University of Waterloo, Ontario and completed his M.F.A. at York University.  Jones has worked as a designer at a publishing company, as a graphic designer, and as a teacher of visual arts at both Waterloo and York universities. He has also written a number of radio plays and lyrics for the television program Fraggle Rock.
   Jones loves crossword puzzles, cross-country skiing, cooking Indian, Thai, Middle Eastern and Italian food. He sometimes lives in the countryside a hour away from Ottawa, Canada, in Ottawa with his wife Amanda and in England.
